Rotating silver sterling ring of 300-280BC. Phaistos disk was discovered in the basement of the Minoan palace of Phaistos, near Agia Triada, in southern Crete. On its two sides there are 45 different symbols, many of which represent easily recognizable objects, such as human figures, fish, birds, insects, plants, etc. In total there are 241 symbols.
