JEWELLERY ROOTED IN CRETAN SOUL

Sofia Kampouri was born and raised in Athens, with roots from the island of Lesvos. For the past 15 years, she has lived and worked in Rethymno, Crete—a place that inspires her daily with its colours, nature, and vibrant energy.

It was there that Greek Lizard Jewels was born—a personal creative journey that combines simplicity with natural materials.

With a longstanding love for crafts and decoration, Sofia naturally transitioned into jewellery-making as a form of expression and a way to connect creativity with the natural world.

Each piece is handmade using natural stones and is inspired by the light, colours, and soul of Greece.

Every Greek Lizard piece carries the spirit of Crete - strong, earthy, and timeless. Whether worn daily or layered for a statement, they are a tribute to authentic Greek craftsmanship and a connection to something real.
