Not condensed. Not mass-produced. Just the way yiayia makes it.
Avgolemono is the soup of every Greek home — broth, rice, egg and lemon whisked together until silky and golden. It is the bowl that appears for colds, for Sundays, for heartbreak and for homecomings. No two families make it the same way, and every family is certain theirs is the right one.
Caroline Rovithi takes pop art's most famous soup can and gives it a Greek pantry makeover: Greece's Home Made in looping script, a slice of lemon where the gold medallion should be, and AYGOLEMONO spelled out the way it sounds to Greek ears. Mass production meets the one recipe that could never be mass-produced — and the joke lands with real warmth.
Hand-signed by the artist and printed on fine art paper, the navy and white can stands bright against a sunny orange ground at 21 × 21 cm. Made for a kitchen wall, a dining nook, or anyone who still rings home for the recipe. Sold unframed so the frame is yours to choose.
Curated with Culture, Crafted with Care.
