The Meander Symbol 

The logo of their brand is the Meander symbol, also known as the "Greek Key", which derives from the river Meander which flowed from an ancient town called Metropolis into the Aegean Sea. The river was noted for its exceptionally winding and twisting path which is depicted on their meander motif.

Celebrated for its intricate, twisting path, the Meander motif reflects this natural flow. In Ancient Greece, it was one of the most significant symbols, often adorning gifts as a representation of infinity, love, and the eternal cycle of life.

The designer and creator of the brand, Soraya Tsantilis, with a vast experience in the luxury fashion business, has managed to bring together the features of style and the Greek heritage into the collection of products the brand offers today.

EL products are handcrafted in Greece using exclusively Greek materials, ensuring authenticity and quality at every step. The process begins with our signature fabric, meticulously woven on the EL loom to achieve the perfect balance of texture and structure. Once crafted, the fabric is sent to our workshops in Athens, where skilled artisans carefully cut and sew it into our signature bags.
