SENSE-S - Jewellery & 3D Printing
Sissy Papakosta was born in Karditsa, a town in the centre of Greece, and studied architecture in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her desire to design was what prompted her to study and work as an Architect Engineer.
Through this process, she was initiated to the world of architecture and assimilated its principles. She discovered that the success of a project is a complex process. It is a combination of design and materials, technology as well as presentation.Architecture occupies the largest part of her professional life - it is an art and a science simultaneously.
She prefers the medium of 3D printing, as it liberates her from any design constraints and offers her the ability to accurately capture her inspiration in the material. And thus, she began to create jewellery, when she discovered she could design exactly what she would like to wear: comfortable, light, easy to wear jewellery, linear and black!
