Antonia Iroidou - Art Prints & Myths

Antonia Iroidou, an Illustration Artist based in Athens, discovered her passion for classical music at the tender age of seven. Her journey into the world of music commenced with classical guitar studies at the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa, followed by advanced studies at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki, where she graduated with distinction and earned a diploma in classical guitar.

Continuing her artistic pursuits, Antonia further honed her skills at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, and later at the Conservatorium Luzern, where she graduated with honors as a soloist. Her career has been marked by a series of captivating recitals both in Greece and abroad.

Parallel to her love for music, Antonia harbours a second passion for painting. This dual affinity led her to explore digital art, a medium that she wholeheartedly embraced. The central theme of her work is anthropocentric and cultural, delving into the intricate relationship between individuals and the contexts that shape them. These contexts are influenced by roots, personal stories, family and childhood experiences, as well as the forces of nature, the universe, and the prevailing cultural environment.

Antonia's artistic repertoire includes the creation of intricate patterns, mosaics, and shades, with a penchant for immersing herself in the dance of pixels. Through her art, she weaves together fragments that, though initially disparate, coalesce to tell a compelling and coherent story.

Her debut solo exhibition, titled "GLORIOUS IMMORTALITY," took place at the Tsantilis Art Gallery in Athens. Antonia boasts two additional solo exhibitions and has been a featured participant in numerous group exhibitions. Notably, she collaborated with Tuborg Greece, designing a new creative pattern, and also worked with Samsung Greece.

The recognition of Antonia's talent extends to the magazine GALA of the newspaper Proto Thema, which selected her work for inclusion in its anniversary issue, highlighting the significance and impact of her artistic contributions.
