Thalassea was founded in Melbourne in 2022 to bring the work of independent Greek artisans to the women of Australia who understand the difference between something bought and something chosen. We source directly from emerging artists — ceramicists, jewellers, textile makers, printmakers — whose work is rooted in millennia of Greek culture and made entirely by hand.
We review hundreds of works each season. Very few make it through. What you find here is what we believe in.
